Kholood strongly believes that utilizing patient-centered care in order to achieve optimal health is of utmost importance. She is committed to focusing on each individual’s needs and to helping patients make the necessary adjustments in order to achieve and maintain their best health. Kholood specializes in pain management, gastrointestinal concerns, and emotional well-being. Health has always been a priority to Kholood, as she grew up in a family immersed in the healthcare field. After a family member became ill and needed more care than what was provided, her family turned to acupuncture, which yielded positive results. Ever since, Kholood has been dedicated to the field of acupuncture. Outside of the clinic, Kholood also works as a Registered Nurse and belongs to the American Nurses Association and the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists.

Kholood holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine, both from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, IL. She also studied at City Colleges of Chicago to become a Registered Nurse and holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, IL. She is licensed by the State of Illinois to practice acupuncture and is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine certified through NCCAOM. Kholood has over 3500 hours of clinical and educational classroom training in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
