James loves working with clients as a team toward a common goal. His philosophy is to meet all patients where they are at. He is an excellent listener who has a caring bedside manner. He specializes in acupuncture for pain reduction and management (especially sciatica pain), digestion, and autoimmune concerns. 

James was first introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine in his 20’s when he had severe neck pain. He was amazed at how tiny acupuncture needles were able to lower his pain drastically and quickly! This experience inspired him to study Chinese Medicine and become an acupuncturist.

James attended National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR and received a Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has been practicing since 2020. For his undergraduate work, he attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. James is licensed to practice acupuncture by the State of Illinois and is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
